Camden Community Law Centre survives. Despite cuts to funding and a massive reduction in scope of Legal Aid, and even as other Law Centres close, Camden Law Centre is still going.
Law Centres are a vital part of community life. That is why I believe it is incumbent on lawyers who believe in access to justice for the most vulnerable in society to get involved. Sir Geoffrey Bindman suggests commercial lawyers ought to support Law Centres financially. Others give up their time to advise those who need it for free.
However it is done, it must be done. Support your local Law Centre.
